Blue Art Collective
Art • Water • Social Justice
Multiple voices and stories make our watersheds whole, yet only a few dominate the vision for healthy, flourishing, and resilient waters and communities.
Join us to change that!
We recognize and celebrate watershed-wide diversity as a source of strength and the foundation for the social movement it will take to meet our individual and collective water and social justice goals.
Blue Art Collective is a network of individuals, groups, and organizations dedicated to increasing equitable water management through participatory art. We are passionate about art, water, and social justice. We see them as intricately linked and their connection as a catalyst to advance social change.
We believe that access to healthy water is a human right and that communities must not only be involved but lead the water management decisions that affect them.
Our collective works together to bring those voices typically left out of the conversations about local waterways into the decision-making processes that determine our shared water future. It is seeded in the idea that multiple and diverse perspectives are needed to equitably manage our shared waters and participatory art is the most effective and inclusive way to meet this challenge.
Blue Art Collective is an open invitation to join the conversation around resilient watersheds, healthy communities, and participatory art.
Let’s see where the conversation leads!
